How to setup this App
The first thing you got to do is install the PS4 Remote Play APK application. The setup process and after you tap next it will often try to look for your PS4 through the network. But a way I found that was easier was just to skip that and manually register the PS4 on this device to do.
So just boot up your PS4 head over to the settings menu and scroll all the way down to Remote Play connection settings. After you hit that just tap on add device and there it will bring up a code that. It will ask you to enter on your mobile device you have 300 seconds to do.
Otherwise it will give you a new code, so let's just enter the code here and it will connect with the device and link them up. Now you can see we are up and running but we aren't done yet we still have to connect a PS4 DualShock 4 controller in order.
To get the full experience of Remote Play since using the on-screen buttons will be an absolute nightmare to do. So just head into the settings and go to Experian activity and scroll down and you will see the DualShock 3 and Dualshock 4.
Just go to the setup menu and it will ask you to hold on the PlayStation and the share button on your DualShock 4 controller. They will then pair up and your controller is ready to use you don't actually have to just use it in the Remote Play App. You can actually even score around the menus using the PS4 controller and after we head back into the Remote Play App.
PS4 Remote Play Review
Sony now offers remote gameplay from your playstation 4 to a compatible Xperia mobile device in this case. We have the Xperia Z3 and it's attached using Sony's GCM 10 control map, so that's not the most attractive name in the world but the mount is pretty handy it snaps on to your sandaled standard DualShock 4 controller with a simple clip down at the bottom.
It really fits snugly so it takes a little while to get it in but once it's there it holds up your device either in Xperia smartphone. We have your Xperia Tablet using a suction mount like the ones that. You'll see on GPS devices in cars, so that also snaps in on and off fairly easily using a lever at the back and then.
You can adjust both the rotation and the tilt of the display and the mount now playing with remote play involves just connecting to the same Wi-Fi network as your PlayStation 4. And then opening the new remote play App extension that you can download via Google Play easily.
If you have the Sony PlayStation App on your Android device and remote play is available to that device should prompt you to download it. Downloaded App It should automatically detect your PlayStation Core. So long as you're on the same network and then it'll stream the content wirelessly to your device.
The mount is pretty sturdy and it really does keep things in place it's adjustable but you have to exert some effort to do that. Which is good because that means the screens not bouncing around as you can see. If you don't have the mount you get the on-screen controls to click on the physical controls and those only the show up in portrait.
At the bottom of the screen or right over top if you're in landscape mode and that works great as long as you don't mind obscuring some of the screen. But using the DualShock 4 is really the optimal use case here pairing the DualShock 4 is very easy you just hold down the PlayStation home button.
And the share button for a few seconds until the light on the back blinks white and then it will automatically go into pairing mode as long as you have the PlayStation App on your device. Open as for the quality of the overall streaming experience it's really solid a lot of the issues that, I've seen before with Playstation screaming and remote play in particular including on the Vita.
And the PlayStation TV including sort of some slowdown and some lag issues are not really present here somehow they've done a good job.
